Jessie and Jolie came, with their two girls, not the boys, and not Paul or James. They had all been here two months earlier for Chuck's funeral, and couldn't stand more sadness. We had a nice visit just us girls. We took a picture with Tony after the service ended. Carl and Pandora were there, but didn't want to have their picture taken.
Across the street at Preservation Hall, we had a nice lunch.
As part of the Graveside Ceremony, Tony had each person take a yellow rose, Mom's favorite flower.
After lunch and the Graveside Ceremony, we came back to the house with Tony.
We had a toast to Grandma Evie, with Strawberry Crush, which she always had for the children at every family holiday meal.
The next day we filled the vase on Mom's headstone. The children picked flowers on the farm, and then brought them out to the cemetery.
We took this picture, four generations with Grandma, as we had done so often before.
Carl and Pandora also brought yellow roses to add to the bouquet.
